My dog does that too! My theory is that it goes back deep into their genetic pool. Dogs used to be wild animals and lived in dens, right? So maybe it makes them feel safe? I’m guessing of course, but that’s my theory and I’m sticking to it!
It’s all bright and shit in your living room. Don’t you like to turn the lights off when you go to sleep? Riley doesn’t have opposable thumbs. He’s gotta do something. ;]
(Also, your blog says that I’m spelling ‘opposable’ wrong. But I’m not! Made me second-guess myself for a sec there.)
