What I want for Christmas

Selective hearing. So when my parents say something that annoys me, I can’t hear it, and thus can’t say something back that annoys them.

Also, not to step in poo again. That was gross.

; -) A wonderful skill to have. If I had a penny for every comment my mother made that I let pass, I’d be a rich woman.

    PLEASE TEACH ME!

Oh I know. Hopefully a lot of it will be in Chinese so I won’t even be affected. :P

You know what really helps? Living far away. It’s much easier to bite your tongue for a week than it is on a daily basis.

You know what else really helps? Learning how to politely and firmly end a conversation you don’t actually want to have. This is easiest with strangers, and probably hardest with your parents.

Uh yeah. I realize now that I have a better long-distance relationship with my parents than in-person. Or at least an easier one.
