I understand the writing itch. I keep going back and forth between my current WiP and my last WiP and don’t know which to focus on. Probably the current one since I think my critique group would grow irritated with me for switching on them again.

Congrats on submitting to agents, Kristan! And hang in there. I am on my umpteenth revision and so not looking forward to it, but I think Theresa is right that it takes a lot of perseverance!

Well YOUR face is happening, but I didn’t know you’d be reading! :P

And I shouldn’t be a multi-tasker. It’s sort of an excuse not to focus on/finish any one project. (For me – not necessarily all multi-taskers!) But yeah, it IS hard to resist a project when people are so clearly enthusiastic about it…

Yup. I’m already on-board with those last two (crit group and editing) so that leaves perseverance… Here I come!

my face is SO happening.
I am not a multi-tasker like you! I write one thing at a time, but it’s so hard to resist those story ideas…especially when someone tells you that they’re so good they’d buy them. ;)
I’m going to give you back your own advice, “You can’t think your way out of a writing block, but you can definitely write your way out of a thinking block.” hehe.

I know that feeling when you just want to write but so many other things keep getting in the way. But oh, what a wonderful problem – so many ideas, so many projects, so much excitement. I know it can be frustrating when you can’t get down to business but at least you have tons you want to write and are not mucking about in the mud wondering if you’ll ever find inspiration again.
