Before Ike, there was Hannah. And before Hannah, there was Gustav. And in between Gustav and Hannah, there was Stan and Andy. In Florida. At Disney World.

Yes, we went during hurricane season because it’s cheaper. Andy’s a money saver (for a living!) and I’m a poor writer, so it made sense. And you know what? The weather rocked. It was sunny and upwards of 90 degrees for four of the five days of our trip. Only on Friday was there even a hint of gray in the skies. So we grabbed our umbrellas and headed for Epcot, also known as the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. There we…

Got a preview of our future at the Spaceship Earth.

Hi, James! Thanks for stopping by. My blog is powered by WordPress, so maybe that’s why it’s on that list? Anyway, I’m glad you like it!

    Hi,
my name is Anh and for my BA-Thesis I’m currently conducting a study about American Bloggers.

I would like to invite you to participate in the survey.

It will only take about 15 minutes and it’s completely anonymous.
    Just visit the following URL:
    http://onlineforschung.org/usblogger

Even if you don’t want to participate (or are not American), you can help me by posting the link in your blog and/or inviting others to take part.

I greatly appreciate every survey completed ;)

    Thank you!

You and your bf really are adorable. I think it is so great that you took this trip as big kids yourselves. When my husband and I were dating, I took him to So Cal to meet my family; he’d never been to the Mainland (only travel had been to the Philipines with his Filipina grandmother who raised him). Anyways, we went to Disneyland one day and he was like a kid. We had to go back a couple days later because he’d not had enough.

Also – I know you are a college grad, but seriously, does anyone tell you you look quite young? Bet you never try and buy beer without your ID.

ps I left you a little gift at my blog

Haha you do look young, it’s a good trait (right? hehe). Lol at the thought of you buying beer.

    phhhst-
Thank you! And yes, haha, I get “but you look so young” all the time. The other day someone said his son was about my age. I asked how old that was. He said 17. Sadly I had to tell him I already graduated college.

And two years ago, someone asked me if I was 12. Granted, I had on overalls and a baseball cap that day… but it’s still one of my best stories!

Aisha’s laughing because I don’t drink. (Don’t like the taste. Although I’m tempted to try sangria because it looks so fruity and delicious…)

PS: Thanks!! Actually you made my day first, with your comment. :D

    Aisha-
Yeah, haha, I think it’ll come in handy a couple decades from now. But a couple decades after that, I’m gonna shrivel up overnight into a little Asian raisin woman, like Mulan’s grandma. It’s inevitable!

aw, from that top-down perspective, it looks like you have the feet of a 5 year old ;).

Haha, yeah, Angie said more or less the same thing to me when I showed her.
