(Or not. Guess you’ll have to read to find out!)
Dorothy Dreyer is a fellow halfie and writer living in Germany. On her blog We Do Write, she interviews aspiring authors, and guess who is featured today?
I’m honored, and I had a blast answering her questions (including a special writing challenge at the end). I hope you’ll take a minute to check it out.
From We Do Write:
At this very moment, future best sellers are being written by people among us.
It could be anyone.
It could be you.
I thought I’d take it upon myself to get to know them before they shoot off into stardom, and show my support during their climb.
Awesome, no?
Her blog is a cool idea. It will be interesting to see if she does manage to interview a future best-selling author. I mean, in addition to you, of course.
Can I just say that her little picture on her website looks A LOT like Jennifer Beals? This is not a bad thing.

Cool interview, thanks for sharing! That last question asking you to write a story on the spot was a curve ball!

Jon-
You’re telling me! I think I was technically only supposed to write a sentence, but once I figured out a sentence I liked (which took a couple tries) I had to wrap it up a bit better. :P
I love the idea of potential best sellers being written right now! It’s a good idea to carry around when I see so many cool books getting published and wish I could get to that point. Who knows, perhaps in a few years people could be reading about our books coming out and hoping they get to that point!

Oh Rachele, I sure hope so! In fact, I think it’s quite likely. :D
Great interview, Kristan! I didn’t know you had published chapters on Amazon. Have you blogged about that experience? (You must have)
I did blog about it a little bit here ( http://kristanhoffman.com/2009/07/16/why-not-giving-things-a-shot/ ) and here ( http://kristanhoffman.com/2009/07/28/speaking-of-amazon/ ) but not one big cohesive post. I guess I don’t feel like the “experiment” is over yet, so I haven’t come to any conclusions.
